TL;DR
14-day free trial to test everything. After that, no refunds - it's a consumable service. You're responsible for your passwords and links. We cannot recover lost files. Don't upload illegal content. French law applies.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Secury.io ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Secury.io is a zero-knowledge encrypted file sharing platform with the following characteristics:
Client-Side Encryption
Files are encrypted in your browser before upload
Zero-Knowledge Architecture
We cannot access, view, or recover your files
Key in Link Only
The decryption key exists only in your shareable link

By using Secury.io, you explicitly acknowledge and accept the following:
Authentication Security
- • You are SOLELY responsible for your password security
- • You are SOLELY responsible for your account access
- • We CANNOT recover your account if you lose credentials
- • We use zero-knowledge authentication - your password never touches our servers
Encryption Keys & Links - Critical
- • Decryption keys exist ONLY in shareable links
- • We NEVER have access to your encryption keys
- • If you lose a link, the file is PERMANENTLY LOST
- • We CANNOT recover files under ANY circumstances
- • This is not a limitation - it IS the security feature
Content Responsibility
- • You are SOLELY responsible for content you upload
- • You warrant you have the legal right to share the content
- • We CANNOT see, moderate, or verify your content
- • We CANNOT be held liable for your content
- • You indemnify us against all claims arising from your content
Backup Responsibility
- • Secury.io is NOT a backup service
- • Files expire based on your chosen settings (1 hour to 7 days)
- • You must maintain your own backups of important files
- • We are NOT responsible for any data loss
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. The following uses are strictly prohibited:
While we cannot pre-screen content due to our zero-knowledge architecture, we will cooperate with law enforcement upon valid legal request.

Important: Consumable Digital Service
Secury.io is a CONSUMABLE DIGITAL SERVICE. Once your subscription begins after the free trial:
- • The service is immediately available and consumed
- • Server resources are allocated to your account
- • Storage and bandwidth are provisioned
For these reasons:
- ✕NO REFUNDS will be issued under any circumstances
- ✕NO partial refunds for unused time
- ✕NO refunds for forgotten cancellations
- ✕NO refunds for dissatisfaction after trial
The 14-day free trial exists specifically so you can evaluate the service BEFORE committing to payment.
6.4 Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through account settings
- Access continues until the end of your current billing period
- No refund will be provided for the remaining time
- All data associated with your account will be deleted at period end
6.5 Price Changes
- We will provide 30 days notice before any price increase
- You may cancel before the new price takes effect
- Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of new pricing
7. Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain all rights to the files you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license solely to store and transmit your encrypted content as necessary to provide the Service.
Our Service: The Secury.io name, logo, website design, and underlying technology are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without written permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING:
- •Warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
- •Warranties of uninterrupted or error-free availability
- •Warranties regarding security or reliability
- •Warranties that files can be recovered if you lose your link
- •Warranties of compatibility with all devices
9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SECURY.IO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
Technical Issues
- • Service interruptions or downtime
- • Data loss or corruption
- • Software bugs or errors
- • Compatibility issues
- • Server failures
User Actions
- • Lost passwords or account access
- • Lost encryption keys or sharing links
- • Forgotten cancellations
- • Unauthorized account access
- • Content you upload or share
Third-Party Issues
- • Payment processor failures
- • Internet connectivity issues
- • Browser or device incompatibility
- • Third-party service outages
Business Losses
- • Lost profits or revenue
- • Lost business opportunities
- • Reputational damage
- • Consequential damages of any kind
MAXIMUM LIABILITY CAP
Our total aggregate liability shall NEVER exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is LOWER.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Secury.io and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Content you upload, store, or share through the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Any claim that your content caused damage to a third party
11. Termination
By You: You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time through your account settings. No refund will be provided.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to other users, third parties, or our business. No refund will be provided.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. All files and data associated with your account will be permanently deleted. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including limitations of liability, indemnification, no refund policy, and governing law).
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
EU consumers may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform. Nothing prevents consumers from bringing actions in their local courts where permitted by law.
14. General Provisions
- Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Secury.io.
- No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
